Job Description
**Role and Major Responsibilities**
+ Increasing Plant efficiency and productivity by driving Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across all functional areas within the Plant.
+ Providing support in the implementation of global OE initiatives, local PoF roadmap implementation, ensure use cases adoption and lead local productivity projects, fostering a culture of excellence, monitoring, and tracking key performance metrics, and ensuring the adoption of the tools and systems as part of the CPS Digital Operating System.
+ Leading Kaizen workshops, applying OE tools, such as value stream mapping, visual management, 5S, SMED and material and process flow to maximize process efficiency and deliver productivity.
+ Coordinating multiple initiatives related to OE and Strategic Projects to achieve Plant Transformation goals.
+ Responsible for orchestrating, facilitating, coordinating, and streamlining the management of various projects and programs. Lead regular local Show and Tells to communicate the progress of the PoF plan and to engage associates in our CPS Transformation Strategy and share best practices with the CPS Network.
+ Training and coaching of Associates throughout Conco on the use of Lean and problem-solving tools to drive Operational Excellence. Development of Standardized processes throughout the plant, including training and implementation.
+ Leading and supporting the implementation of the Operational Excellence Programs to identify and complete business process improvement projects across all functions of the plant.
+ Implementing organizational capabilities required to become a flexible operation focusing on business efficiency, customer service, quality mindset, continuous improvement, and competitiveness to become a high-performance organization.
+ Conducting analysis of data to ensure sustainable growth and development of the organization on the OE journey Leading and supporting the implementation of measurements and reporting systems to track efficiencies gained through process improvement initiatives.
+ Scheduling and facilitating working sessions to resolve issues, mitigate risks and set priorities
**Minimum Requirements for Position: (Education, skills, experience, etc.)**
* A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, Engineering or Science.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, Ability to manage multiple conflicting demands with finite resources and to prioritise accordingly
* Strong project management skills
* Demonstrated practical experience in the use and application of Lean tools and principles
* Demonstrated practical experience in influencing across a network or a team-based environment
* Excellent communication skills * Good coaching and influencing skills
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making Skills
