About the opportunity
Join us as an Operational Improvement Manager and play a key role in driving operational excellence at StarTrack. In this leadership role, you will work with cross-functional teams to analyse operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies to improve our DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) performance. Your expertise in Lean principles will help enhance our end-to-end supply chain processes, making a direct impact on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
What you’ll deliver with us
As the Operational Improvement Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
• Analysing daily DIFOT activities and developing improvement plans aligned with Lean principles to address operational issues.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including depot and regional managers, to implement continuous improvement programs.
• Leading operational improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and enhance customer DIFOT performance.
• Presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

• Work with major customer accounts to drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with customer needs.
• Provide guidance on operational improvements, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Lead and inspire your team to achieve operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
About you
You bring a strategic mindset with strong leadership skills, and you thrive in an environment where operational challenges require creative solutions. You have a deep understanding of Lean principles and a passion for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. You’re a strong communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels, and you’re results-oriented with a drive to make tangible improvements.
You’ll also need
• Proven experience in operational management, ideally within transport or logistics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and use complex data to drive improvement.
• Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
