We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Operational Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team.

 

THE ROLE:

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing the procurement of goods and materials to meet both internal and external demands.

 

In addition to this, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating the supply of standard items to fulfill customer requirements, both internally and externally. Conducting thorough checks of purchase requests against inventory records, ensuring accurate stocking levels. Generating and managing purchase requisitions, converting them as necessary to meet customer delivery deadlines. Creating purchase orders with local vendors, expediting them to ensure on-time delivery for our valued customers. Verifying vendor acknowledgments and confirming deliveries to guarantee optimal customer satisfaction. Recording and communicating order confirmations and any potential delays to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and open communication channels. Knowledge of Global Principle or Intercompany Model is highly beneficial in this role.

 

THE PERSON:

To excel in this position, the successful candidate will possess the following:-

ESSENTIAL

A minimum of 2 years of extensive SAP experience at a high level. A deep understanding of Supply Chain Management, including Incoterms, Warehousing, and Logistics. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing competing demands while meeting tight deadlines. Strong independent working capabilities, coupled with effective collaboration with major stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Awareness of customer and supplier development trends and technologies.

 

DESIRABLE

Preferable knowledge of Global Principle or Intercompany Model would be an advantage Understanding of Jaegger (P4T), Salesforce and Power BI
