Your Impact:Primary responsibilities fall into two categories:
Model Exam, Governance and AuditsFacilitate internal meetings to identify, document, raise and resolve roadblocks during Model Audits and Regulatory exams.Collaborate with key partners (model business owners, project managers, enterprise risk management, Internal Audit & FHFA) to ensure successful submission of deliverables.Partner with the Enterprise Governance Team to serve as a domain expert to share feedback/input to model policies, standards, and procedures.Provide management and/or affected business divisions with summaries, operational and regulatory risk assessment reports, trending, and remedial or mitigation solutions.Issue Management:Provide oversight feedback and review of action plans and deliverables for all SF MRAs and audit findings; ensure completion of the action plans in a timely manner.Partner with management to evaluate the progress on risk assessments and remediation of key issues. Facilitate the overall improvement of internal control environment.Working proficiency on Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)/ Risk Management Tools such as Bwise, Service Now (or) similar tools.Assist management in gathering, analyzing, aggregating and reporting issue remediation progress.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with 8+ years of work experience in operational risk, issue management, quantitative finance, or a related quantitative field; Advanced Degree or Certifications (e.g., PMP, CISA, CPA) are preferredDemonstrable experience in managing issue remediation activities, audit, regulatory exams preferably in Finance (Mortgage) Services or Banking IndustrySuperior knowledge and understanding of model-related policies, standards and procedures with high level of knowledge of the financial modelThorough understanding of end-to-end modeling life cycleHands-on experience in End-to-End Issue Management activitiesStrong hands-on experience with reporting /querying tools (SQL, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, Informatica)Excellent project management and strong analytical with proven problem-solving skillsStrong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with senior management and external regulatorProblem solving and critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to identify risks and develop mitigation strategiesKeys to Success in this Role:Significant experience handling multi-faceted projects simultaneously that have cross-departmental impactDetail oriented with strong quantitative/analytical skillsAbility to plan, organize, and effectively complete risk mitigation and operational improvement initiativesCurrent Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $114,000 - $172,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
