Operational Risk Coordinator - Pasquill

 

At Pasquill we are looking for an Operational Risk Coordinator to offer effective EHS assistance.

 

This Health & Safety Risk Coordinator role is a supervisory-support position designed to provide direct and effective EHS assistance to the Site Operations Managers. This is a key role in developing, implementing and maintaining OSS EHS standards through the provision of support to the Site Operations Manager who maintains ultimate responsibility for EHS

 

Pasquill is part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland and specialises in supplying timber engineered products, being the UK's largest trussed rafter supplier

To be successful you will be

 

EHS qualified IOSH Experience in EHS Experience as a team leader in manufacturing environment (preferable) Self-starter and individual who completes tasks

 

What you will be doing:

 

You will be actively helping Managers in the continual assessment and management of on-site EHS risks and in particular the ongoing monitoring, support, influence and supervision over colleague behaviours in relation to those risks and the site’s work-related activities. This must always include monitoring and checking compliance with established Safe Systems of Work and all other safety provisions to ensure that risks to colleagues and site visitors at OSS locations are reduced to the lowest level reasonably practicable. This is achieved through the establishment of specific standards and safe behaviours, attitudes and commitments and is only ultimately successful where the EHS Risk Coordinator is fully and correctly supported by the Site Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager and the senior OSS Management team.

 

Assisting the Site Operations Manager with new colleague EHS Site Inductions Provide information to colleagues in relation to their tasks, through Risk Assessment and Safe Systems of Work briefings Tool Box Talks Record keeping including Employee Risk Assessment/SSW Instruction & Issue Records and Employee EHS Training Weekly Racking Inspections Weekly/Monthly EHS Inspections Assist the Operations Manager with contractor inductions Assisting in implementing and practicing effective Fire Safety arrangements Carrying out recorded Weekly Alarm Tests and Fire Exit & Fire Equipment Inspections Completing all Incidents reports on SharePoint.
