Operational Risk Manager - Technology Risks

We are currently hiring a Risk Manager (f/m/d) within the Global Operational & Business Risk management team, the independent risk management function responsible for managing operational and business risks across AllianzGI.

You will be responsible for managing Digital Risks (e.g. Information Security, System Development, Business Continuity), thus further strengthening the footprint of the Risk Management function of AllianzGI.

This role would be preferably based in Frankfurt, but Munich or Luxembourg could also be an option.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain AllianzGI`s risk management framework for Digital Risks

• Perform independent risk oversight and challenge predominantly related to Digital risks based on regular interactions with Business, formal risk and control assessments, and control testing

• Analyse and document operational risk events

• Support Business on risk mitigation measures, incl. follow-up on implementation

• Support Business to set-up effective key risk indicators, including ongoing monitoring

• Monitor (predominantly IT) project risks

• Prepare reporting on operational risks, predominantly Digital Risks

What you bring

• At least 3 years of relevant experience as IT Risk Manager, Consultant, Auditor, or another role at an asset manager, a bank or financial services firm

• Preferable hands-on experience in the domains of Information Security and/or IT systems

• Good understanding of the asset management industry

• Basic knowledge of the regulatory (e.g. DORA) and technical frameworks (e.g. COBIT) are considered advantageous

• Master`s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, or equivalent field of study

• Certificates like CISA, CISSP, or CRISC would be a plus

• Proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and self-management skills to support effective teamwork in an international and interdisciplinary environment

• Fluency in English is required, knowledge in German and further languages would be a plus
