This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
+ Within your new role, you provide support to Global Category Managers within the Clinical Development team, facilitating the implementation of effective category strategies while keeping a vigilant eye on costs, opportunities, business prospects, and supply security.
+ You support defined activities for the Category Managers by running RfX processes, support the preparation of negotiations, setting up supplier evaluations and document savings.
+ To guarantee compliance, suitable agreements are established, contract execution is facilitated through executive summaries and proper system documentation is generated.
+ In addition, you collaborate closely with our business partners and act as the primary contact person to provide assistance with operational issues or questions.
+ You participate in cross-functional sourcing projects to offer valuable input on challenging innovation issues, such as how to implement forward-thinking sourcing strategies, and work with colleagues from other teams to achieve excellent results.
+ Together with your colleagues and your commitment to continuous improvement, you open up new avenues for the category and sourcing management teams to boost our rich product pipeline with innovative therapies.
+ Furthermore, you contribute to all relevant activities and processes, which identify savings potential – from requests and offer analysis to contract negotiations, focusing on timelines and process requirements.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sourcing or Supply Chain
+ Few years of experience in Sourcing or Contract Research Organisation (CRO)
+ Understanding of supplier and contract management, sourcing and category strategies as well as eSourcing and Procure to Pay processes
+ Someone with a persuasive nature, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and a dedication to customer satisfaction and quality
+ Fluent in English, German fluency is a plus
