Operational Technology Lead (Cyber Security Lead)

Location: Elgin, Moray House

Please note that, although posted in several locations, this role is only available to be based on-site in Elgin, candidates must live in or willing to relocate to commuting distance to Elgin.

Our engineering team in North Engineering Centre is responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and engineering in the north maltings. The team delivers improved asset reliability and world class resource utilisation through planning and execution of tasks and positively contributes to a World Class outlook and actively support the development and successful implementation of strategies to achieve this aim.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager, the main purpose of the role is to effectively manage area of responsibility (Malt Distilling) with regards to Operational Technology (OT) Cyber security.

To develop and deploy effective local guidance on OT Cyber Security training plans and knowledge base.Liaising with 3rd Party Integrators as key stakeholders, establishing policies and procedures alongside assured ways of working.To provide incident and/or emergency coordination as a point of contact and SME to Operational teams.Managing resources and key personnel to support 24/7 operations with immediate Cyber Security escalations.Managing planning of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP-PM) to ensure all processes and essential preventative maintenance and compliance work are completed.Ensuring compliance through policies and procedures embedded on Operational sites.Support employee and team development in accordance with responsibilities toward Cyber Security assurance.Interpret and analyse data to ensure successful implementation of the Cyber Security protocols, monitoring, auditing and reporting alongside Governance to establish compliance assurance.Ensure adherence to plans and delivery of wider business Cyber Security targets.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure adherence Cyber Security Standards across Operational sites with area of responsibility.Ensure 3rd Party Integrator compliance with Diageo Cyber Security Standards.Support and energise deployment of the Cyber Security Strategy with technical teams and Operations.Implement best practice processes and procedures maximising effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring a strong collaborate with all key relationship teams.Working closely with Site Manager’s, Operators and Integrators to ensure all mandatory and requested maintenance is effectively planned into the production schedule, ensuring the correct resource and spare parts are available to carry out the maintenance.Ensure all maintenance activities including annual PPM’s are completed and captured on SAP.Optimizes maintenance schedules including CapEx projects and Silent Season which involve connecting into the OT system.Monitors and improves Cyber Security KPI’s with special attention to compliance and risk assessments.Provide analytical expertise derived from the CMMS to build and track maintenance improvements projects.Provides feedback on improvements relating to the Cyber Security hardware, software and processes.Provides detailed reporting for maintenance. Supports RCM process if required.Provide secure Remote Access technical support.Ensure Management of Change processes are completed where necessary.Reviewing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.Ensure all OT equipment is installed within suitable controlled environments.Attend routine Cyber Security review meetings.

About You

You will have experience operating in a high availability/output industrial environment and this will be complimented by a depth of knowledge & experience of Cyber Security, OT systems & assets including hardware & networks.

You will have knowledge/experience of Standard ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity for Industry.

You will have HNC level minimum qualification in engineering or equivalent experience.

To be successful at this role, you will have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate at all levels. We are looking for someone who can influence and challenge others, govern projects, coordinate cyber resilience programme.

Although industrial experience is not required for this role, understanding of manufacturing and distilling would be good to have.

This role is not open to remote working and needs to be based in Elgin due to the travel requirement between sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is also necessary for this role.
