As an Operational Technology (OT) Specialist Europe, your responsibility is to maintain technology excellence throughout European facilities and ensure a strong technical foundation to enable safe, efficient and reliable production processes that meets our customer needs and our performance requirements. You bring a quick and accurate support to operations to meet business and customer needs. Moreover, you lead design, execution and commissioning projects on the EIA scope on CAPEX Projects. Finally, you ensure continuous improvement in technology evolution, safety and operation efficiency.
Your challenges:
Capex support – Automation/electrical Side:
You lead the Capex project on the Automation/electrical side. You write the Autom/Elec RFQ (Request For Quotation) to deliver to the purchasing department. You help to choose the Autom/Elec subcontractor with technical advice. You drive the subcontractors during the whole project (kick-off -> commissioning). Check if the subcontractor follows the requirements (able to build a test platform). Lead the FAT test with the subcontractor. You take part in the commissioning of the project. Able to read and comment an electrical diagram, and use a multimeter. Able to commission field network (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP…). Able to make basic settings on VFD, and debug it. Able to start instrumentation devices (Pressure, temperature…) knowledge of 4/20mA. Able to make small modification on HMI/PLC during commissioning. You make the training of the Operator/Electrical maintenance for the new project on Electrical/HMI topics.Operational & Technical Excellence
You participate in the definition of operational and technical standards and practices; and ensure those are followed throughout the European Plants. You ensure the application of the long-term technological strategy plan. You implement all the needed software, standards and recommendations. You ensure the technical support of the technological suppliers selection. You develop some software applications.Continuous improvement
You conduct technology survey. You identify technical needs/risks and evaluation of the needed resources and actions. You collect ideas of improvement and evaluate their technical impact.Business Support
You provide second level of production support and troubleshooting. You ensure that people have and understand all the needed documentations for the installations‘ exploitation and maintenance.Your profile:
Basic requirements
Master degree in field of electrotechnics and/or electronics and/or automation At least 3 years of experiences in managing projects in the field of EIA Experience in a service company in the EIA field is a plus Possessing a valid driving license Ready to travel between 30 and 50% Languages: English (written and spoken) + Local languageNeeded Knowledges

The OT department Europe is composed by a Project Sub-Department, a Support Sub-Department and an IT for OT Sub-Department.. The department included specialists in Electricity, in Instrumentation, in Automation and in IT. The Project team is composed by 5 engineers located into 4 different countries.
Your manager will be Jean-Jacques Christin:
Jean-Jacques is our OT Project Team Manager. He has a long track in Automation and has therefor an extensive knowledge of the different technologies of the OT environment. Over the last 15 years he fulfilled different roles in different companies (project engineer, engineering, commissioning…). His background offers a complete view on the business needs.
Above all, Jean-Jacques is rigorous and working daily to improve the department processes. He offers a large autonomy to the team members. On the other hand, he likes to share his experience and coach new comers / young engineers / students. He is a manager inviting permanently the team to suggest ideas and improvements. He is oriented towards the future and technological developments. Jean-Jacques is very quality oriented and has a pragmatic regard concerning project phase.
