Operational Technology Supervisor

The Operational Technology Supervisor will be based at our new Chromatography Resins Site in Muskegon, MI. This new state of the art facility is continuing to ramp up to full production in the coming years. During this initial phase, the Automation Manager will work to implement a complex OT infrastructure for manufacturing operations. Once the infrastructure is implemented, the role will transition to a more traditional cadence focusing on continuous improvement, preventative maintenance and coaching a high performing team. What you’ll do: + Lead a team of automation and systems engineers to provide world class operational technology performance and experience + Create a culture of development, problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer service + Responsible for budget and coordination of life cycle management of operational technology hardware and software + Ensure that OT issues are responded to and resolved efficiently as well as eliminating or preventing reoccurrence + Work closely with local and Swedish Cytiva associates in the startup, qualification, and commissioning of the manufacturing factory and support systems + Support computer system validation activities as needed Who you are: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field (IT, computer science, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, computer system and network administration, etc.) + Experience in system management and support + Working knowledge of operational technology applications and lifecycle management + Great communication skills and the desire to work in multidisciplinary teams to support OT systems in a 24/7 environment It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Experience in chemical plant operations, mining/mineral processing, pulp or paper processing, or life science operations + Knowledge of specific applications including but not limited to: Oracle Process Manufacturing, Pas-X, Snitcher label printing, PI System, ABB 800xA, Rockwell PlantPAx, and Emerson DeltaV + Experience with full life cycle management of operational technologies Additional requirements: + Able to sit or stand for up to 4 hours at a time + Able navigate through process plant safely + Able to lift up to 25 lbs At Danaher we bring together science, technology and operational capabilities to accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow’s science and technology.
