Operations, Senior Associate (NYC Hybrid)
**Overview** We are currently seeking an Operations Senior Associate to provide administrative support to the Morrow Group’s **marketing and publicity teams** . In this role you will be responsible for various operational components including scheduling meetings, executing mailings, processing invoices, booking travel, and organizing information to be shared internally. **Responsibilities** + Assist the marketing and publicity teams with day-to-day administrative and scheduling needs + Perform general administrative duties, including mailings to media, influencers, and booksellers; organize Goodreads and reader promotions; and enters internal marketing and publicity database updates + Processes bindery orders for marketing and publicity teams sending books to the NY office + Process invoices across the departments, vendor set-up, author reimbursements, update title budgets, reclass expenses, and expense reports + Conduct consumer and media research projects + Organize promotional copy for social media channels and newsletters. + Monitor publicity inboxes and distribute inquiries to correct publicists + Assist publicists with booking author travel and updating tour schedules + Collate materials and assets for excerpt requests + Create social media, informational, and tour graphics for team members **Qualifications** + Prior professional experience in an office environment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Self-motivated with excellent time management skills + Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks to meet the required deadlines + Build and maintain relationships across the organization and serve as a resource to the team and others + Quick learner of new technologies and tools + Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite + Proficiency with using social media platforms + Basic design skills and familiarity with Canva or Photoshop a plus + Broad interest in books, literature, and current events a plus HarperCollins Publishers is a company full of people who are passionate about books.
