The primary responsibility of the Operations Admin - PS Inside is to assist and support the Public Sector Inside Sales team and customers by processing overflow work from the sales team. The Operations Admin will learn and carry out a variety of process-driven tasks that include, but are not limited to, managing communications, placing orders, quoting, working in business application software, and fielding requests.
This position will report to the Manager of Operations Admins - PS Inside and will be performed from SHI's office location in Somerset, NJ.

Assist with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data consistencyField SHI.com requests from customers and forward to correct sales teamsRequest information from vendors, such as invoices, pricing, and order statusProcess overflow work from the sales team or operations, such as placing orders, working on renewal opportunities, and creating vendors and parts for AXForward Ariba (e-procurement) modifications from customers asking for a change to their current orders, handle warehouse voicemails, and perform other ad hoc duties as requestedPerform order entry, review and respond to e-mails, and collect order statusRegularly engage with district managers, partner teams, and vendors Qualifications Highschool diploma/GEDCustomer service and/or customer facing experienceProficiency in the following applications/platforms:Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookWell-rounded working knowledge of SHI’s tools including:MySHI, AX, BI, CRM, SharePoint, and quoting Required Skills Ability to learn fast, absorb knowledge, and apply newly learned information dailyDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and complete projects in an expeditious and comprehensive manorAbility to work both individually and in a team environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicateStrong time management and organization skillsPossess an upbeat attitude with the desire to learn new skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to engage in independent work to increase job related knowledge and skills

Some college preferredWindows OS experience is a plus Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $31,200 - $40,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
