Operations Administrative Assistant - Distribution Center
Overview The Operations Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to building executives and distribution center leaders. This role must use independent thinking and judgment with sole discretion for office procedures. The position responsibilities include a broad scope of tasks including schedule and calendar management, meetings management, coordination of travel and events, presentation creation, and records management. The position requires someone with a strong attention to detail, good organization, and critical thinking skills. As part of the normal work activities, this position routinely has access to and works with highly confidential and sensitive information for which this person would be responsible for maintaining and protecting confidentiality of such information. Responsibilities • Provide administrative support, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf for all distribution centers • Attend key meetings to record minutes, track takeaways, follow-up on actions items, and manage invitations for guest attendees • Manage multiple executive’s calendars, including making appointments and prioritizing sensitive matters • Manage team-wide projects/programs as needed, such as team-building events, all-hands meetings, recognition programs, etc. • Manage accurate and timely submission of expense reports • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records • Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary • Assist with site store if applicable • Review and maintain operational procedures and training documents • Ensure visual directives and standards are maintained • Execute plans to drive Key Performance Indicators to maximize productivity • Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings • All other duties as assigned Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 2 years of experience distribution center, preferred • Resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands and opportunities in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment • Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making and financial analysis • Skilled with critical Microsoft tools, including Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and its calendar functions, etc. • High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust • Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays #LI-AF1 Benefits Range: $18.00 - $25.00 / hr Sneakers are just the beginning: • Foot Locker associate discount: 30% off in-store and online • 401(k) • Stock purchase plan • Medical / dental / vision / life insurance • Climate controlled environment • Development and advancement opportunities • Education reimbursement program • And so much more!
