Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Operations Analyst.

The mission of Real Estate Development and Facilities (RED+F) Department is to plan, develop, operate and maintain the campus of the NYU Langone Health and provide the foundation for its growth and success in the 21st century. RED+F provides strategic campus planning and project development services, including architectural studies, programming, design, construction and associated infrastructure and technological upgrades, for new structures and renovations to existing structures on the NYU Langone Health campus. The Department also operates and manages all facilities, infrastructure and related support services across the health. RED+F is composed of the Real Estate, Housing, Planning & Project Development, Facilities Operations & Management, Finance & Administration, Campus Security, Environmental Services, Environmental Health & Safety, Radiation Safety and Clinical Engineering divisions. Overall role Under limited supervision, provides support to financial analysts, admin group, property and project teams, including, but not limited to:-Running financial reports-Systems development-FTS programming updates-Training and user support-UNIFIER Support to users-PIM Support-user access

Job Responsibilities:

RED+F Financial Tracking System (FTS) modifications and enhancements Support REDF Administration processes in Unifier (Setup Users and Projects) Support Departmental Systems initiatives (PLANON, UNIFIER,PIM) Act as the department liaison to IT for the following ticket issues:-Technical issues-E-procurement user accounts-E-finance Accounts-Remote desktop access-REDF G:\drive access Maintain organized tracking logs of authorized users to departmental systems, review periodically. Support users with installation issues, and performs modifications and enhancements as needed. Assist in Web application Development (migrate existing Ms access applications to the web). Interact with different Applications from MS Office Suite (Access, Excel,Powerpoint, Word,Outlook). Interact with NYULMC finance systems (Peoplesoft accounting system) and address issues. Assist in Web application Development (migrate existing Ms access applications to the web) Create adhoc reports as required Assist in the Monthly/Quarterly finance reports generation and distribution Flowchart current Operations and Workflow using MS Visio. Track projects completion using MS Project Create, modify, maintain Technical and Training manuals/presentations Interact with raw data tables stored in MS SQL databases Query existing databases using existing queries or create new ones Ensure Data Integrity Manage and maintain FTS information updates from PeopleSoft, i.e Payment updates, PO issued updates, Journal Vouchers, PM fees, etc. Support FTS users with installation issues Handle Administrative transactional requests by RED+F users (Rerouting, Voids, Allocations, etc) Assist in the implementation of REDF systems/operations solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration or other related field required or combination education/equivalent experience. Requires 3+ years in a billing office or healthcare setting. Knowledge of practice management and revenue cycle. Strong conceptual and analytical abilities with the ability to identify issues and opportunities and be able to solve problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent listening skills. Ability to conceptualize workflow, develop plans and implement appropriate actions. Ability to multi-task and coordinate competing priorities. Professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with healthcare finance, operations, medical reimbursement and managed care contracts preferred.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14-$71,590.90 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
