To enable us to achieve our mission, we are seeking an Operations Analytics Lead who will empower data analysts and product analysts to drive transformative change in the way we support our merchants and optimise operations.
In this role, you will lead a team that delivers actionable insights across Product Operations, Customer Support and Customer Success, establishing a unified source of truth between our human and automated channels that support data-driven decision-making, minimise operational costs and enhance merchant experience. You will partner with stakeholders to efficiently translate business needs to data and implement strong measurement capabilities, advancing the usage of analytics among non technical stakeholders.
You will provide thought leadership and data support on the design, execution, and measurement of experiments and channel tests. You will also identify performance gaps and highlight opportunities to maximize impact and provide hands-on support for one or more of our acquisition channels.
What you’ll do
Team Management: You will set goals, provide continuous feedback, and ensure that the team is working effectively. You will be responsible for developing the skills of team members, and providing training and mentorship to help them grow in their roles. Insight Generation: You will analyze data to identify trends and insights that can be used to make business decisions. You will be in charge of building data products to align multiple channels and funnels (activation, retention and support funnel). Project Management: You will define the scope for large and complex projects, set roadmaps, and ensure on-time delivery. Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, including Product and AI automation, Customer Support and Success and strategy to understand their data needs and provide insights and decision support. Talent Development: You will be responsible for developing the skills of team members, and providing training and mentorship to help them grow in their roles.You'll be great for this position if
You have solid experience in data analytics and a proven track record of delivering insights and driving business impact You have previous experience in team management and have a strategic mindset You have strong communication and collaboration skills, know how to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and are great at explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders You can support conclusions with analytical evidence using descriptive and diagnostic statistics, as well as basic inferential statistics You have experience with integrating data from multiple sources and systems in order to build a comprehensive view of the business; know how to analyze business requirements in various functional areas and can translate them into conceptual, logical, and data models You have experience with building advanced dashboards, ideally with Tableau You have deep knowledge of DBT or similar tools and have experience with Airflow, Git, CI/CD and AWS You know to strategically partner with engineering teams and are able set up analytics engineering best practicesWhy you should join SumUp
