Operations and Financial Analyst
  ROLE STATEMENT: The Operations and Financial Analyst will be a member of the US Operations team responsible for overseeing financial planning, cost analysis, and reporting functions for the US Operating unit.  Reporting directly to the President, United States Operations and indirectly to the Vice-President, Finance, the Operations and Financial Analyst will ensure the financial health and regulatory compliance of US Operations while supporting operational goals.   LOCATION: Downtown Denver, CO SALARY: $111,500 to $126,800 DOE (eligibility for annual bonus) Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and monitor financial forecasts, budgets, and performance indicators. Identify variances and provide actionable insights to management. Cost Control: Implement cost-effective measures and monitor cost efficiency to maximize profitability. Analyze cost structures and recommend areas for improvement. Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, internal controls. Regularly assess and mitigate financial risks within the country. Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to local management and corporate headquarters. Maintain accurate and timely financial data, for decision-making purposes. Operational Support: Collaborate with operations teams to align financial and operational objectives. Participate in cross-functional projects and support decision-making. Financial Systems:  Work on process improvements to enhance system efficiency and integrity, among different locations and functions in the organization. Proficiency in financial software (e.g. Oracle). Knowledge of local regulatory tax & accounting legislation, GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. Excellent communication and presentation skills.   This role will require travel and active participation in different locations within the United States (at least 1 week per month on average).   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A CPA or MBA is preferred. 5 – 7 years in finance or accounting roles, ideally with experience in multinational or energy sector companies.
