Planning & Fulfillment Improvement Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesCommitted to the standardization and continuous improvement of our planning and fulfillmentprocesses, skills and tools, we are looking for an Operations and Supply Planner at our site in Heidelberg, Germany. Draw up a production plan taking into account production capacities, order situation, stock levels, production backlogs, delivery backlogs, procurement situations, etc., taking into account existing deadlines. Your responsibilities will include managing projects aimed at optimizing keyaspects such as on-time delivery, LTA and inventory turns, while reducing lead times and striving for customer focus. Focus will be the improvement of the Disposition and Planning Process in form of the operational execution but as well improvement with tools and techniques.Do you have a proven track record in the field of Disposition and Planning? The work model for the role is: hybrid. #LI-Hybridd- Assemble and analyze all data to create a production plan, use rough-cut and detail capacity planning in alignment with our extended workbenches and link it to the demand plan; run the Supply review process, obtain consensus from Engineering and Production Managers and input it to the Sales & Operations Planning process- Collaborate with our extended workbenches, product management, procurement to better align supply and sourcing strategies, demand planners to influence demand shaping activities which help improve profit, customer service or reduce inventory, strong focus on end-to-end processes- Contribute actively to a short-term planning process, connect the operations plan with the short-term production schedule- Determine impact of plan on expected inventory levels, including Sales in Excess, Monitors WIP, recommend WIP rationalization initiatives and feed them into the inventory checkbook (ICBK)- Identify key root causes for deviation from the production plan and implement initiatives to improve adherence to plans for the future- Accountable for schedule adherence and supply plan attainment- Ensure planning parameters are up to date including review of replenishment strategies together with PnF Specialist to improve OTD and stock level
Qualifications for the roleDegree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent and first years working experience in SCM or Planning in Fulfillment based on a solid qualification in Business AdministrationProven track record of improving Planning & Fulfillment metrics via optimization initiativesExpertise in the Planning & Fulfillment domains of Inventory Management, Operations Planning and Sales & Operations Advanced and senior knowledge in SAP (Modules WM, PP, MM) and in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPP)As a plus, knowledge in PowerBI (Data Analysis and Dashboard Creation)Experience in application of Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodologyCustomer focus and actions oriented with a systematic and structured approachCultural awareness and ability to work within a global organizationStrong communication skills in English paired with consulting and facilitating skills
