**The Opportunity:**
CACI's SAFFIRE team is seeking a highly motivated Operation and Sustainment Engineer to help manage critical Intelligence solutions for our NGA customers as part of the SAFFIRE program. You will be a critical element, working closely with users, our user support team and CACI’s development teams ensuring that systems supporting the national security of our country remain available to their user base. As our Operations and Sustainment Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to primarily support a user base consisting of geospatial and imagery analysts,
SAFFIRE is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art of Geospatial Intelligence analysis soft ware. The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. The team is deeply passionate about its mission and takes tremendous pride in our work. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.

**Responsibilities:**
• Provide first level support for hardware, soft ware, and network issues via phone, email, or chat.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issue and guide users through step-by-step solutions.
• Log and track support requests in Jira Service Manager, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support as necessary, providing detailed documentation of the problem.
• Assist users with password resets and account unlocks.
• Maintain a knowledge base by documenting solutions and updating existing articles.
Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on resolved issues and providing excellent service.
• Work in a cross matrixed team environment.
• Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy learning new technologies and overcoming new challenges.
• Communicate effectively with customers to gather information and determine the root cause of issues or problems.
• Continuously improve personal and team technical skills through training and self-study.
**Qualifications:**
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with a polygraph (or agreement to take poly when requested)
• Bachelor's degree is required. (relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree) AND 3 plus years of experience
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand on your feet for an extended period.
• Ability to work off hours in support of mission needs.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or other cloud-based technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for this job.
• Experience in analytical work in the Intelligence Community.
• Possess an IAT Level II certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
**Desired:**
• Previous experience supporting both DoD and Intelligence Community customers, to include interactions with community seniors and military officers.
• Experience with various geospatial or intelligence analysts’ applications.
• Experience with Esri soft ware.
• Experience with Atlassian suite of soft ware applications.
• Continuous Monitoring Solutions – Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
$57,500-$117,900
