Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing standardized work processes involving the operation of machinery and the assembly and inspection of parts.
Responsibilities
Performs work in accordance with the Working Manual, inspection and packing requirements. Operates molding machines, air activated tools/equipment, robots and/or assembly jigs to produce or assemble product. Additionally, may be responsible for material handling duties. Advises supervision of machine malfunctions and unacceptable variances in product quality. Compares, inspects and monitors product quality to approved samples. Documents production results on an hourly basis. Meets production rates established for specific part(s) being produced. Performs 5S and TPM requirements within assigned work areas. Perform other tasks as directed by Team Leader. Complies with all IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 requirements. May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.Quality / Environmental Roles and Responsibilities:
Follows all procedures and work instructions and makes recommendations to improve the process. Notifies Leader immediately upon detecting any non-conformances. Records all non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken and assist in the problem-solving process. Communicates and practices DMNC’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Takes an active role in achieving and maintaining IATF-16949 and ISO-14001.Knowledge, Skills, and Education Required
Basic math, reading and communication skills are required.Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment, working with automated machinery. Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes are required. Position requires standing, walking and may be required to move, lift or carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
