Description As an Operations Associate (OA) of the AMS team; you will be at the forefront of the technical support line. You will receive contacts from corporate clients via email, chats and calls regarding infrastructure related requests such as change requests, monitoring, patch management and security and backup services as well as provide full-lifecycle services to provision, run, and support infrastructure. These requests will be minor-intermediate impact, additional requests of higher level/severity will be elevated to the next level of support. Key job responsibilities • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to identify areas of enhancement, maintain the correct performance of our services and develop long-term relationships with our customers • Resolving customer related problems and needs related to our AWS services • Maintain a continuous communication with our customers as required; keeping them informed about the status of their requests, changes, agreed outages, among others • Keeping up with updates and new AWS services while providing support to our customers' needs Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer science with graduation date within 24 months of application • Able to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings Preferred Qualifications • 1+ years of installation and/or Troubleshooting knowledge (OS Administration (Windows or Linux). • 1+ years of understanding Networking Essentials (OSI Model, TCP/IP). • Knowledge Internet Fundamentals, such as, DNS, HTTP protocol, TCP / IP Protocols. • Knowledge of Basic Cloud Computing concepts. • Experience with scripting / programming languages (such as PowerShell, Python and Ruby."
