What is the opportunity?
An opportunity to join the Loans Servicing team supporting our global loan and CLO investment teams, processing loan facilities from settlement, through the entire lifecycle of the loan. Working within a dynamic team that pride themselves on being accurate and efficient but also with capacity and capability to affect process improvements from route causes analysis through to successful implementation of solutions.
You will work closely with the Loans Closing team, the Investment desk as well as Agents, Custodians and Internal teams.
What will you do?
Capture and process lifecycle events such as rollovers, paydowns, drawdowns and interest in a timely and accurate manner.Process loan trade settlement activity accurately and in a timely manner.Investigate and resolve discrepancies between agent notices and our internal records.Proactively investigate and resolve any reconciliation breaks against custody and agents cash postings.Operate within the existing operational risk framework whilst identifying any new controls or enhancements.Engaging internal teams to ensure trade flow connectivity is maintained for STP and that new initiatives are agreed, tested and implemented. Review tax requirements for individual funds.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Loans servicing experienceExperience in a trade processing team with knowledge of lifecycle events.Ability to multi-task and prioritise according to intra-day deadlines.Attention to detail, coupled with ability to speak up or resolve discrepancies.Demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement.Establish and maintain good relationships and work effectively and cooperatively with others. Communicates constructively, engages others positively and readily shares information and ideas.Ability to adhere to deadlines.
