Job Description

The Operations Business Manager provides assistance in the day-to-day operations of the Stores Network while gaining the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage and lead a Zone.

 

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes the customer base for potential sales opportunities, trends, new customers and product niches as needed.Advises and provides tools for Store and Zone Managers to achieve sales, operations and safety goals.Includes travel to Stores and to attend Zone meetings.Lead real estate activity for assigned region.Liaison for Stores to Regional Director40% travel.

 

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.

 

Knowledgeable of the industry and our competitors.Requires knowledge of sales and distribution, financial management, cash management and marketing.Developed skills in leadership, organization, relationship building, communication and planning.Requires strong ability to building relationships, listen, persuasion, negotiating and managing time.Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software."
