About the Role

Drives the project team to successfully implement the company's strategic targets and operational goals with Simpler, Faster, More Connected and Agile solutions.

Responsibilities:

Assist senior management in the planning of department initiatives, including resource allocation, risk identification, and setting project objectives.Lead a dynamic project team to ensure the smooth and timely execution of projects, from initiation to delivery of project objectives.Interact with end users to confirm business requirements and user stories, ensuring relevant acceptance criteria are met.Monitor and enhance the work efficiency and quality of the overseas operation service team, which may involve on-site business visits.Ensure project operations align with company guidelines and regulatory requirements, obtaining relevant licenses if the job involves regulated activities.Organize and monitor periodic audits on an as-needed basis.Promote a supportive and collaborative team culture, delivering training sessions to diverse groups to enhance their understanding and capabilities.Collaborate with the project team using an agile project management approach, planning and guiding project processes, promoting closer working relationships and knowledge transfer, and resolving challenging issues.Set up regular progress update meetings with team members and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.Regularly update senior management on project progress and articulate viewpoints to ensure timely project completion.Collaborate closely with different partners, including developers and offshore teams, to implement initiatives.Meet with vendors or auditors as needed.

Requirements:University degree or equivalent (preferably in insurance, computer science, or business fields) with a minimum of 7 years of working experience in insurance companies.Effective interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and inspire team members to achieve project goals.Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).Strong analytical abilities and a focus on efficient problem-solving, consistently placing the customer at the forefront of decision-making and daily tasks.
