Job Summary Assist Controller in providing financial support.

Essential Job Duties 

Support leadership team from a financial and operational perspective. Participate in the annual budgeting process by working with leadership to prepare their budgets for the coming year. Assist in the review of internal financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Perform financial analysis, including pro forma analyses. Assist Controller with submitting monthly projections, key statistical data, and other requests. Participate in the monthly business review (MBR) process. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on key metric performance distributed to the operational teams Ensure conformity and consistency to accounting procedures. Resolve questions regarding transactions that post to financial statements. Subject matter expert (SME) with respect to the management systems used within LKQ's various divisions (e.g. Project X for salvage and Prelude for aftermarket). May conduct site visits to conduct internal control reviews and financial and operational performance reviews. May act as liaison between the Field and the Financial Service Center (FSC) in resolving inquiries by the Field to the FSC regarding posting or transactions in the general ledger. Assume other duties as assigned.
