Operations Coordinator
Job Title: Marine Operations Support Coordinator
Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Marine Operations Support Coordinator is to assist the Demand Planning department with the execution of fleet acquisition, registration, and insurance as well as marina lease database management and agreement coordination for both existing and new locations. This role will be responsible for organizing and tracking the acquired fleet from manufacturers and ensuring all compliance requirements are met, including boat registration and insurance enrollment. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with regional General Managers to update the marina lease database with the execution and renewal of marina leases for over 100 locations. Success in this role will be measured by meeting goals and objectives in the areas of fleet and marina lease management.

ResponsibilitiesSupport compliance activities such as boat registration and renewals, insurance enrollment, and local and state registration activities.Ensure accurate and timely filing of forms related to boat registration and insurance.Track the order status of new boat orders, including production and logistics dates.Effectively communicate the status of boat registration and titles.Assist with updates of information in the fleet management system (Fleetio) as needed.Organize the lease repository and data for ongoing financial analysis purposes.Manage the workflow process for existing, new, and acquired location leases, including stakeholders such as legal, operations, finance, fleet, and territory directors.Establish and maintain a comprehensive calendar to stay ahead of renewal requirements and timing.Acquire signatures and provide signed copies to the lessor, legal, and accounts payable departments.Manage the Certificate of Insurance (COI) process for each location.Essential SkillsEffective communication and organizational skills.Self-starter capable of working unsupervised.Strong attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.Experience in administrative support and data entry.Ability to multi-task and organize large amounts of data.Strong reading comprehension.Ability to work under minimal supervision and demonstrate a results orientation.Additional Skills & QualificationsCollege degree preferred or commensurate experience.Familiarity with boats and boating is a plus.Proficiency in PC-based software including Adobe Acrobat Pro, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.Well-organized, self-motivated, assertive, tenacious by nature, and flexible, willing to accept new responsibilities and grow within the role as required.Work Environment

This position operates at the Venice Corporate location with hours of operation from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. It is a full-time (40-hour work week) opportunity within a fun industry. The role offers the potential for contract extension or permanent employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.66 - $19.31/hr.
