ABOUT THE ROLE

Weatherford Roma, QLD is currently seeking a Wireline Coordinator to oversee the duties and responsibilities of day-to-day operations of the Wireline yard through the coordination of equipment and personnel; assist the Wireline Operations Supervisor in the daily activity.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise Location Supervisors and Dispatchers.  Communicate with sales force in securing customer requirements and time frames. Prepare quotes.  Generate Purchase orders.  Perform credit verification on all customers. Assist in preparation of reports.  Available on a 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.  Recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.  Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.  Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford. Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.  Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

5 years of experience in Wireline Operations is essential.  Experience in Pressure Control, Radiation, Driving, Explosives are highly essential.  Prior experience as a Coordinator is highly advantageous  Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and dispatch and track resources in support of job tickets High School Diploma or Equivalent  Proficient verbal and written communication skills  Multi-tasking ability

 

MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS

38-hour work week / potential adhoc roster depending on the operations  Must be based in Roma, QLD or is willing to relocate to Roma. (Relocation support will be provided by Weatherford aligned with the company policy)  15% - 20% for Field Audit purposes, approximately 2 -3 times a month.  Must be open to drive to visit different fields for audit purposes.  This is NOT Fly in and Fly out.  This is NOT Drive in and Drive out.  Immediate start preferred.
