Job Description

Position Schedule:  Monday-Friday   0800-1630


Major Duties and Responsibilities:  

Handle the operations & customer service responsibilities associated with inbound domestic shipments for both ocean and air freight. Track/trace shipments, & locally coordinate shipments through to delivery by due date.                                                                                                    Perform timely updates to shipment status' and communicate them to customers and other branch locations.Respond timely and accurately to customer pickup and quote requests. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Degree or equivalent requiredSuccessful candidates must pass a background checkMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust not require future sponsorship for employment visaFluent in English, both written and verbalMust have the ability to work overtime in support of the department’s needsMust be able to commute to the city of  Honolulu   96817 Proficient  with numbers and basic mathematical skillsComfortable working in a professional business environment

Desired Qualifications:

Associates or Undergraduate Degree PreferredGood computer skills (Word, Excel, and familiarity with PowerPoint)Ability to multi-task and prioritize work while under pressureAptitude for math and accounting with a strong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a collaborative team environmentExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsHas a demonstrated strong work ethic, and reliabilityAn understanding of or experience with logistics networks is a plus
