The Role

The Operations data specialist is responsible for data entry & analytics of key performance indicators (KPI) for the operation team. This role is responsible for transitioning existing manual KPI data processes to an electronic data that can be utilized for trend analysis, and weekly, monthly, and annual performance forecasting and predictions. This role provides key organizational and administrative support to the Site Leader and the Site’s Leadership team including but not limited to managing travel arrangements, visitors preparations and logistics, and managing and coordinating site events.

This role is located in Athens, Ohio.

The Responsibilities 

Performs daily production data entry for KPI

Investigates discrepancies, production variances, scrap transactions in ERP system

Assembles data for operation meetings during week and assist with monthly/quarter business review PPT preparation

Provides meeting minutes as assigned.

Uploads Operations reports and data and manages the tracking, organization, and storage of related data and information appropriately. Provides general administrative support to the Site Leader and the Site Senior Leadership.

Assists with travel arrangements for site leader and  Site Senior Leadership

Manages site visitor preparations, meals, hotel reservations as needed

Demonstrates effective communication skills, verbal and written.

May require participation in meetings involving confidential materials. A high degree of discretion and commitment to confidentiality is required. Maintains workflow and efficient use of resources while working towards goals with minimal supervision.

The Individual

Required:

Minimum of 1-3 years of direct or tangible experience working with advanced MS excel features for data entry and analytics.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Computer skills (e-mail, word processing, graphing software, Excel) with understanding of complex formulas or ability and willingness to learn

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work within cross-functional teams

Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Demonstrates ability to consistently meet proposed objective timelines, applying competent use of project planning and project management skills

This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship. 

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an office environment

Experience in general administration including event planning

The Key Working Relationships

Internal Partners:

The position interacts with all levels of Operation’s employees. The position interfaces with production managers. Participates in cross-functional teams and problem-solving activities. Will interact at times with visitors, senior leaders of our company as well as community leaders in onsite meeting as well as offsite meetings.

The Work Environment

The work environment characteristics are representative of both an office and manufacturing environment.

The Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.  Works for long period of time in sitting position and for long periods of time using computer, keyboard and mouse.  Ability to file and distribute mail. Must be able to move in and out of laboratory environments
