This position is located in Tucson, AZ. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all contract support activities for the Book Print Facility (BPF) and ensures the flow of operations between both 1st and 2nd shifts and over 200 contractor-staffed positions. Provides daily feedback on workflow and future projections to the senior Government personnel at the Facility. Supports DoS in ongoing studies and evaluations. Must demonstrate excellent communications skills with all levels of management and interfaces with Government Personnel including the COR, other senior Government personnel at the Facility, and Contracting Officer. Implements the Management Plan and Corporate Quality Control policies to effectively direct contract support activities to ensure satisfactory conformance with contract provisions and performance metrics. Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of supervisory staff. Interprets policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates. Monitors contractual expenditures and ensures that established budgets are not exceeded. Develops and maintains succinct reporting methodology to ensure the COR, other senior Government personnel at the Facility, Contracting Officer, and CA/PPT headquarters are informed of contractual performance. Must be capable of negotiating and making binding decisions for company **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive management experience in a tangible goods production environment •Minimum of ten (10) years of management/supervisory experience at a company or facility of the size and scope similar to the Book Personalization Facility- 200+ employees Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews and documents for internal and external use Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills At a minimum, intermediate functionality in MS Office applications, including MS Excel and MS Word Must be available to work overtime as needed to meet client demands Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds without assistance, stand for long periods of time, visually verify information and hear without assistance Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: Advanced Degree. • Experience in managing a seasonal/temporary work force. • Four (4) years experience in an automated environment. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,200.00 - $190,100.00.
