Operations Director-BOS Portfolio

Responsibilities What You'll Do: Provides operational support of Program Operations of the BOS Portfolio. Supports the Program Managers and Business Advisory Units on activities to ensure contractual and mission success. Supports the Executive Director on all contractual reporting requirements to the United States Government are met in accordance with the contract tech exhibits and Task Order specific requirements. Assignments generally include supporting Project Task Orders across the various programs and regions. Works closely with the Government staff and organizations across the Task Orders to ensure proper coordination and communication occurs to enhance overall mission accomplishment. Leads Task Order Senior Leaders to ensure successful completion of BOS Operations. Supports Business Growth opportunities across the Operations spectrum in support of Business Development (BD). Works closely with Business Development on target opportunities, basis of estimates for labor and materials, subcontract management and overall pricing strategies. Supports proposal and BD efforts in support of V2X BD Directors and Capture Managers. Key Responsibilities: This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all Task Order reporting requirements associated with incident reporting, crisis management, situation reports, and emergency response plans Assists with the management of functional objectives through coordination with Functional Area Managers, Program Managers and team members. Monitors the performance of department managers and supervisors and ensure submission of CDRL reports and other tasks, as required. Participates in the development of functional strategy and forecasting along with research and development for operational planning. Possesses considerable autonomy in completing projects for Task Order leadership Develops, implements, and applies effective and efficient management control procedures. Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness. Establishes policies and procedures for performance and control of all company business management functions and the management and supervision of technical support. Supports detailed planning efforts and assists with monitoring contractual performance. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Undergraduate degree in related field. Certifications/Licenses: None listed. Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years' general experience which provides a good basis or general knowledge of the principles of organization, management, and administration. Five (5) years' relevant leadership experience. Prior BOS Operations experience at the management level required. Experience working across Business Advisory Functions is required. Finance, Contracts, HR, Supply Chain, Contacts, Quality and ESH. Overseas and US DoD experience is highly desired. Other Requirements: 50% travel required overseas Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access (CAC). Must be a U.S. Citizen. Skills and Technology Used: Business/Financial Acumen: Strong organization, communication (verbal/written) skills, and attention to detail. Requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel). Must be able to multi-task proficiently while meeting short suspense for both scheduled Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and unscheduled reports/tasks. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. USD $ 170,000 - 220,000 Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
