About the role
Our Silica and Special Chem business units teams are focused on 3 main technologies: Silica, Fluorine & derivatives and Rare earth & derivatives. Together they generate around €1.3 billion in sales. The teams are composed of around 2000 people globally.
As Operations director for Silica and Special Chem, you will be a member of the Leadership team for both GBUs reporting to the GBU President and part of the Chief operations officer LT as well.
You will be accountable for:
Overseeing a total of 17 plants (6 Silica and 11 Special Chem) located in Europe, Asia, US and Mexico.
Being responsible for the following teams: Manufacturing excellence, Technology development, Sustainability, Industrial Projects, Quality and Operations
Managing CapEx investments
Driving strategic projects for both Silica and Special Chem
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid and travel working mode.
The role can be based in Brussels, Aubervilliers or Lyon.
