Job Description

Danfoss is proud to be at the forefront of driving a global transformation in digital and electric solutions that increase productivity and energy efficiency.  We are truly passionate about investment, and innovation, as we continue to support our customers' journey towards a greener and lower-carbon future.  Danfoss Climate Solutions engineer energy-efficient solutions to help the world get more out of less, with our innovative technologies enabling a decarbonised, digital, and more sustainable tomorrow — across industrial applications, buildings, infrastructure, and the entire food and cold chain.

As we continue to support our customers on these topics, we are now seeking to add an Operations Engineer to our Danfoss Climate Solutions team in Sweden.  This role can be based at any of our 3 sites in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Linköping, and will involve occasional travel to customer sites within Sweden.

Job Responsibilities

As a new Operations Engineer, you will be part of our growing Operations team, whose main task is to redeem our most important value promise to our customers; Faultless implementation and operation of Leanheat sites and continuous improvement of energy efficiency and indoor conditions.

We act as technical support for our customers, monitoring and analyzing data related to the properties' operation and energy consumption, and reacting preventively to deviations and problem situations. We make suggestions for heating optimization so that our customers save energy and costs.

We also train our customers' personnel or maintenance companies in the use of our solution and prepare consumption reports for the past heating season. In addition to solving problems and coming up with solutions, we also play an important role in developing our service in cooperation with our product development.

Other important stakeholders for our team are the Finnish sales team, the R&D team and a variety of partners.

Background & Skills

In order to succeed in this role, we require you to have a suitable higher education degree and a good basic understanding of HVAC and building technology. You can also be at the end of your studies and ready to commit to a full-time job. Our daily working language is Swedish, but since we are part of a global business, oral and written English is a prerequisite for working in the position.

In addition to a technical background and understanding of the energy sector, we consider it particularly important that:

- You excel at analyzing data and using it effectively in office work
- You want to understand and meet the customer's expectations, and you know how to approach surprising problem situations in a solution-oriented manner
