Discover Impactful Work:As an Operations Finance Coordinator, you will perform a variety of administrative functions in support of the Operations Finance department.
A day in the Life:Prepares invoices and credit memos in a timely and accurate manner, and/or prepares and maintains data structures for loading into financial management systems which may include Budget data manipulation, consolidation and loading into financial management systems and Project set-up for billing and time tracking purposesCompiles, analyzes and reports financial data across different segments of the business and ensures data integrity in all reporting activities.Researches and resolves general inquires, billing and data issues.Ensures proper approvals for documents and reports audit. compliance, performs authorization activities and tracks changes in contract value.Completes month-end related activitiesKeys to Success:EducationBachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related coursesExperiencePrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 1-2 years).In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office programsGood organizational and time management skillsConfidence to handle sensitive information and data effectivelyAbility to coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high quality resultsGood written and oral communications skillsAbility to interact optimally with all levels of the organizationDetail oriented with analytical thinking and problem-solving demeanorSolid understanding of accounting principlesPhysical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.May interact with others, relating and capturing sensitive information.
