Operations Finance Manager

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Operations Finance Manager. This position will be based at our Fayetteville, NC facility and relocation within the US/PR is offered. 

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

Manage, develop, coordinate, and control all Finance Operations and Business Systems activities of the Fayetteville plant. Ensure policies, procedures, systems, and controls for the Operations Finance scope are adhered.  Maintain effective and open communication with all departments to enhance teamwork and profitability. Participate in the Finance Operations Month end report out, rolling forecasts, Inventory reporting, CAPEX execution, profit plan and strategic plan. Interpret and prepare analysis of operating results versus budgeted plans and forecasts as requested. Lead the reporting and forecasting efforts of extended Business units for PDCA operation reporting under Fayetteville Core operation.  Unique to this role will be assisting with the Non-Core Fab business transition out which is expected to conclude by year end 2025.

Finance lead for the Operations Finance reporting and forecasting activities of the PDCA business in Fayetteville as well as the business Non-Core FAB transition out (Transitioned in scope to External sourcing).Partner with the IT department in a manner to ensure correct, concise, and timely information. Coordinate the development of new processes and the modification of existing processes to meet Business profit objectives.Provide direction to operations and leadership teams in pursuit of business goals and plant objectives. Implement and evaluate the effect of accounting systems changes in practice and/or procedure as required by changes within the plant or division's operations, or as disseminated by Corporate or Division Headquarters.Review the plant's financial statements and reports with the Plant Finance Manager to aid the strategic decision-making process and to remedy any significant problems.Develop, guide, motivate, and train efficient and effective individuals to meet plant and division objectives. Lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work. Assist in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals. Lead with the Plant Finance Manager, the preparation of the Profit Plan each year for both ledgers and present to division.Assists to Plant Finance Manager with special projects as required. And Function as main back up of presential deliveries within Leadership Stakeholders.Partner & collaborate with Central Accounting & Compliance teams (GFSS, NAC, IA, SOX & Compliance) in line with Operations Finance Scope in line with US-GAAP & IFRS.Non-Core-FAB allocation & cost assignment along with the transition to re-purpose to the core business for Cells and Final Assembly line.Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
•    Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Minimum Three years’ experience in a Finance Manager role
•    Experience in an engineered to order or manufacturing operations facility
•    Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution

Skills:

Position Criteria:

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI).Proficient with financial reporting systems (i.e. Oracle, Encore) and MRP/ERP software (i.e. MAPICS).Experience with Eaton systems: Vista and AS400.Technical knowledge in standard product costing, budgeting, payroll, general accounting, preparation of financial reports, cost accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
