Job Overview
To provide geological/petrophysical support to DS throughout well placement operations. Act as the IES DS focal point for the geosteering activities with clients and assist in growing businesses. A candidate with a strong technical and Geosteering background, skilled in DS services. His presence locally is mandatory for client contact, communication, and interaction. Medium to Senior level position.
Responsibilities:
Conduct timely operational and geosteering/well placement evaluation studies, interpretation, pre-job modeling, real-time geosteering support, and post-job report preparation. Perform LWD log quality control, processing, and interpretation as part of the fully integrated formation evaluation processes. Collaborate with client geology and engineering staff to provide integrated solutions for well positioning. Provide direction and training to junior personnel. Drive geosteering technology sales, incremental WFRD technology revenue through sell-up and pull-through, and IES Solution sales.Skills:
Proficiency in geological and petrophysical interpretation Experience with geosteering and well placement techniques Knowledge of LWD log quality control and processing Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to provide training and mentorshipQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in geology, petroleum engineering, geophysics or other engineering background. Min 4 Years experience in Geosteering/ Well Placement Engineering.#LI-MD1
