In this role you will manage and oversee projects and programs on behalf of the Athabasca Region in Alberta and the Northwest Territories (NWT.) You will represent the Region’s interests while collaborating with other stakeholders/project teams to effectively integrate projects into existing operations.  Also, provide project related information to management proactively to allow for appropriate decision making and acceptance. #joinourteam

What you will do:

Accountable for all aspects of project management, including but not limited to scope creation/development, developing/managing budgets, selecting/procuring/managing resources(labor/equipment/materials), establishing work orders, coordinating regulatory/governmental/land/environmental approvals, monitoring project activities, being accountable for project deliverables and safety.Ensuring projects and programs meet or exceed all requirements/regulations/standards (Ex. Enbridge operation and maintenance manuals (OMM’s), safety, regulatory, engineering, environmental, financial and company standards/best practices).Managing stakeholder relationships (internal/external) while working inclusively/collaboratively with other teams to ensure projects are in alignment with customer(s) expectations (operations, environment, pipeline integrity, damage prevention, external customers etc.).Developing contingency plans to address potential project/program/scope risks to people, operations, safety, environment, schedule, and finances.Provide Regional management with adequate information to make operational and budgetary decisions based on thorough analysis of potential projects/programs and the associated risks.Leading and encouraging continuous improvements on projects/processes/safety and environmental stewardship by sharing information and communicating effectively with stakeholders.Represent Regional operations throughout the lifecycle of Capital/Operational/Core projects by providing input on project scope, designs, in service dates and most critically supporting the seamless integration and operational acceptance of completed work.Deficiencies are to be tracked and closed out prior to operational signoff on project handovers.Monitoring and controlling project activities to ensure project objectives are met within financial and schedule constraints.

Who you are:

Post-secondary education in a related field (engineering, construction/project management etc.) with 7 or more years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Highly developed communication skills and a focus on superior customer service.Exhibits great interpersonal skills and works effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Effective organizational and time management skills in handling multiple projects, performing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines.Understanding of legal land locations, GPS, and various mapping software programs.The successful candidate will be required to undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical.

Working Condition:
