Job Summary

As an Operations Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of UFP Industries. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth and efficient processes across various departments. This internship will provide exposure to a wide range of operational tasks, including hands on working with equipment in the PalletOne BU.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and policies.Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Conduct research and analysis to support operational decision-making.Assist with inventory management and procurement processes.Provide administrative support to the operations team, including data entry and documentation.Participate in meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.Completes courses and assignments as directed.Prepares various reports as required.Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Studying Mechanical Engineering or related fieldProficiency in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets is required.
