Specific Job Duties:

Help Desk for iSeries Applications and Tape Backups. Work with Ticketing System (Service-Now). Communicate with Users by Phone, Email or Microsoft Teams to Resolve Issues.iSeries IPL Maintenance Once a Month.Organize all Onsite and Offsite Tape Logs, Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly.Manage Offsite Tape Storage with Iron Mountain.Monitor/Update IBM Tape Libraries and Tape Inventory.Data Center Alarm Monitoring. Water Detection, UPS, and Fire suppression.

Preferred Skills:

IBM iSeries as an Admin or Operator.Working with IBM Green Screen.Tape Library Backup Systems. Restoring Data as Needed.Help Desk Level 1Ticketing System Experience.Ability to Manage and Escalate Trouble Tickets if Needed.Detailed Inventory and Organizational Skills.
