Operations lead Printing and Handheld scanner services

The IT division supports information management, infrastructure, automation and optimization of key business processes across ASML. The IT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML’s internal and external activities. 

In the IT organization we are looking for a resource to be added to the IT End User Service – Print solutions team. This agile team is responsible for the maintenance and development of the print and handheld scanners services and related SaaS applications like VPSX (for printing provided by LRS) and Soti (for the handheld scanners). These services are being used by internal customers of worldwide and external suppliers. 

Within this role you will be part of an experienced team working according the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework 5.0). Your responsibility is to maintain and improve these services, including their foundational platforms and SaaS applications in terms of functionality, usability and security. We embrace a high level of automation to accomplish these goals.  

 

Job Mission  

As a member of the IT End User Service – Print solutions team your role is, together with your team members, to increase operational excellence, and support the implementation of new functionalities to improve end user satisfaction while adhering to high security standards. The team is responsible for managing and improving the following service components:  

Multi-Function Printers (HP) 

Single Function Printers (HP) 

Plotters (HP) 

Label printers (TSC / Altec) 

VPSX (from LRS) 

Handheld scanners (Zebra) 

SOTI MobiControl 

 

Job Description  

As operations lead you are responsible of for managing day-to-day operations of all service components. You ensure incidents and requests are handled, perform root cause- and trend analysis together with our vendors, and develop recommendations to improve the service based on the results. Additionally, providing support to the rest of the team while implementing changes to the existing environment. You do this in a highly collaborative and constructive way together with your team members and stakeholders.   

 

Main responsibilities:  

Managing operational activities such as incident-, fleet-, and problem management. 

Driving continuous improvement of our services. 

Improving and documenting operational processes. 

Communicate effectively with vendors, stakeholders and end users.  

Actively participate in the Kanban events; 

Qualifications and working experience 

This role requires the following experience and qualifications: 

 

Knowledge 

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English 

Knowledge regarding the following are preferred 

Firewall rules, Datacenters and load balancers 

LDAP/GDS, Active Directory (AD) 

Azure Active Directory 

Follow Me printing concept 

VPSX (LRS) software 

Badge enabled (secure) printing  

SOTI MobiControl 

 

Experience 

Experience with incident and problem management 

Working experience in enterprise IT environments 

 

Competences 

High professional level of social and personal skills 

Working in a Kanban / DevOps Agile team
