Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.The work model for the role is: #LI - HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Robotics division in Auburn Hills, MI. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations.•\tEnsuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.•\tOverseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed.•\tSupervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with the management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.Our team dynamicsYou will join a {insert adjectives – e.g. dynamic, talented, high performing} team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

8+ years of experience within a robotic and/or production environment.Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment implementing intralogistics automation solutions.Strong experience and proven track record in prior operational roles.Good understanding of robotics customers, markets, and competitive landscape.Willingness to travel as needed for the role.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
