Operations Leader –Additively Enabled Turbine Development
Job Description SummaryAs Operations Leader – Additively Enabled Turbine you will use your materials and process engineering expertise, cross-functional teaming experience and program management skills to guide the team through process development and TRL/MRL for manufacture of next generation turbine airfoils. This role will involve developing a process that meet business needs across several organizations, managing complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, long-term planning, and contributing to the overall business strategy for production of next generation turbine airfoils.

Job DescriptionManage Adv. Airfoil Processing team manpower, scope, budget, and technical execution metrics across a variety of company and customer funded programs.Accountable for monitoring and communicating project status, business issues, and significant developments as appropriate within and outside departmentAccountable for multi-step process development that contributes to achieving industrialization and MRL maturation, documentation of standard work, P&E requirements, and EHS compliance through a matrixed, indirect team.Work collaboratively with Design and Systems Engineering teams, GER and Supply Chain leaders to formulate technical solutions and strategies that align with long term business objectives. Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with Engineering and Supply Chain policies and procedures using TRL and MRL maturation approaches in preparation for full rate productionLead and facilitate regular communication of technical and business information between organizations, within the work group and with senior business leaders .In this role, you will gain or build: Systems thinking through the broader integration of design, materials science, manufacturing, and quality while maturing TRL and MRL for production of next generation airfoils

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 5 years' experience in disciplinary engineering and science

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
