We're hiring high performers as proven as our products. Join us. ATI is seeking to hire an Operations Leader to support our new Bright Anneal line in Vandergrift, PA. This position is a key hire for the Specialty Rolled Products business unit of ATI based in Western PA. The Bright anneal line is a key strategic expansion of our capabilities at Vandergrift, standing 200 feet tall, including state-of-the-art control systems. The capabilities at this facility combined with our HRPF based in Brackenridge, PA delivers best-in-the-world coil finishing capabilities at the shortest cycle times. By expanding the operational capabilities, the site now produces materials for the aerospace and defense market. Off shift and weekend hours will be required at times to meet the business needs. **Essential Functions** + Facilitate the installation of continuous improvement projects to reduce the overall cycle time of material flowing through the plant + Implement mission critical maintenance to increase reliability while reducing quality cost associated with line stops + Supervise work and provide technical assistance to respective hourly personnel in the organization unit operations adhering to safety and housekeeping controls + Make modifications to electrical systems based on reliability and production needs + Assure availability of operations equipment for on-time delivery. Assure correct operation of equipment for quality assurance + Works closely with inside and outside support personnel for mill activity coordination + Create cross training opportunities to enhance coverage and redundancy to mitigate unplanned vacancies **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering related field + In lieu of a degree, demonstrated and extensive technical knowledge of complex manufacturing processes for over 4 years will be considered + 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment leading an hourly workforce **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with PLC's, motor control centers static drives and power distribution + Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Ability to learn and understand the intricacies of the Bright Annealing process and be able to capture and automate the learnings + Demonstrate the ability to manage priorities & work schedule to consistently meet deadlines. + Ability to effectively lead a diverse and represented hourly workforce + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Exceptional organization skills + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software - Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc. and ability to use and maintain related company systems **We** **thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
