Overseeing daily operations, you will implement inventory practices to maintain accurate stock levels, prevent shortages or overstocking, and enhance supply chain performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to align strategies with organizational goals, negotiate favorable contracts, and lead a small team of contractors (3-4 people). Leveraging data-driven insights, you will streamline processes, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable results. **Your Impact in Role:** 1. **Inventory Management:** Implement effective systems to ensure accurate stock tracking, reduce waste, and improve turnover while meeting business demands. 2. **Data-Driven Operations:** Use analytics to identify inefficiencies, monitor supplier performance, and optimize procurement and inventory processes. 3. **Vendor Management:** Develop strong partnerships with local and global suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries that adapt to business needs. 4. **Procurement Optimization:** Design and execute strategies to source high-quality products and services at competitive prices, ensuring reliable supplier performance. **The Experience You’ll Bring:** 1. **Language Proficiency:** Native or business-level Japanese and business-level English, with excellent communication skills. 2. **Analytical Skills:** Comfortable using data to refine procurement and inventory strategies, solve problems, and support decision-making. 3. **Experience:** 5+ years in inventory management, supply chain, procurement, or related roles. 4. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL knowledge is a plus. _Preferred Qualifications_ - **Strategic Mindset:** Proactive problem-solver with a history of developing scalable solutions in dynamic environments. - **Attention to Detail:** Strong organizational skills with a focus on operational and financial performance. - **Independence:** Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver impactful results at scale.
