The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for the successful implementation, coordination and execution of jobsite logistics processes within his/her assigned area. This includes facilitating the coordination efforts between the project team and other stakeholders that support the project such as outside suppliers, Excellerate and the regional field support teams. The position’s primary goal is to eliminate secondary time by applying the 80/20 principle to make sure all materials, assemblies and additional supplies needed are on time, accurate, and are staged on the job site as close as possible to the point of use to maximize 30/30. This person would also engage in pre-bid project strategy meetings and work with preconstruction to help identify opportunities for assemblies. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and basic electrical knowledge is preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)

Experience: 3 to 5 years of leadership in electrical construction, purchasing, manufacturing, and/or distribution experience.
Travel: 75%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborates with Estimators, Pre-Construction Managers, Project Managers and Project Superintendents to assist with the development of effective material logistics plans.Assists projects with the establishment and execution of a project specific logistics plan.Coordinates with Excellerate, Field Support and outside suppliers to ensure that all material and tooling requirements for a given project are met.Acts as a liaison between a project’s outside stakeholders and that project’s onsite logistics team.Coaches, trains, and mentors onsite logistics teams and promotes best practices regarding onsite logistics and productivity.Coordinates with project leadership to identify opportunities to increase productivity through various means such as Excellerate usage, value added services and onsite logistics.Collaborates with Productivity Specialists, Onsite Logistics Leads and other stakeholders to develop and implement recommendations that are identified through the productivity visit process.Develops, implements, monitors, and analyzes logistics key performance indicators and reports these to appropriate management and staff.Develops and maintains effective relationships with suppliers.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
