**Operations Management Associate Position:**
The Operations Management Associate will provide strategic operational support for production and operating facilities with a moderate degree of complexity. In this role, you will learn our business and execute our standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. **Key Accountabilities**
+ Focus on safety with knowledge of, or experience in, relevant environmental, health, and safety considerations in manufacturing settings.
+ Ability to plan, develop, and execute on safety procedures, requirements, and trainings.
+ Ability to lead root cause analysis and identify and execute corrective actions.
+ Quality advocate with ability to learn food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Ability to drive quality adherence using technology and performance dialogue.
+ Work collaboratively with customers to build relationships and provide high quality service, focusing on key stakeholder's feedback in order to unlock innovation and best practices via continuous improvement.
+ Learn manufacturing systems within animal feed production, with a passion for continuous improvement and planning, developing, and executing maintenance reliability strategies.
+ Committing to lean manufacturing principles while driving improvement via project and portfolio management.
+ Developer of talent who demonstrates Cargill leadership values with the ability to engage a team and drive results.
+ Plan, develop, and execute trainings in various areas of our business.
+ Manage and execute a budget, with the aptitude to identify and improve cost metrics.
+ Ability to learn accounting principles and generate revenue via manufacturing discipline.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree completed/to be completed between May 2022-Summer 2025.
+ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
+ Ability to work effectively with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
+ Willing and able to relocate
+ Previous intern experience in animal agriculture
+ Ability to travel up to 25% for training and project management
+ Ability to temporarily relocate for first 30 days for consolidated on-site training.
+ Ability to contribute, both as part of a team and individually
+ Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and weekends should the occasional need arise

+ Pursuing or completed an agriculture, business-related degree, or engineering degree (including but not limited to Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Ag-Economics, Ag-Business, Ag-Education, Agronomy, Feed Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Operations Management, Ag-Systems Management, Ag-Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanized Systems Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution).
**Compensation**
The expected salary for this position is $65,000. The disclosed salary has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Cargill we put people first. As part of your overall rewards, we offer a comprehensive benefit program including medical and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered and hours worked.
Cargill highly encourages vaccinations but does not mandate at this time.
