Your role and responsibilities

We’re scaling RUN Services and looking for a highly technical, hands-on Operations Manager to keep our applications running at peak performance while ensuring operational stability, security, and compliance.To be successful in this role, you bring deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, optimizing, and improving IT services. You have a strong infrastructure background, thrive on solving complex technical issues, and take ownership of operational processes that drive high-availability, mission-critical applications.If you excel in fast-paced environments, love tackling tough technical challenges, and want to play a key role in shaping the future of IT operations, we want to hear from you!What you’ll do:You will own the operational execution of key applications, ensuring 99.9% uptime and service stability. As the go-to technical expert, you’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues while continuously optimizing system performance.Compliance is critical, and you’ll ensure all operations align with ITIL processes, security standards, and corporate policies. You’ll collaborate with vendors to define SLAs, monitor service quality, and manage technical escalations.Automation and efficiency will be at the heart of your work - you’ll streamline RUN Services by improving operational processes, enhancing resilience, and supporting seamless application onboarding. You’ll also monitor key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations that drive service improvements.The work model for the role is: remote, #LiRemoteThis role is contributing to the {insert product group/business area/division/function} in {insert region}. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}.You will be mainly accountable for:Fulfilling the service requests in the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and collaborating with IS Service Owner to define the domain service catalog.Reviewing SLAs and corresponding service monitoring and controlling metrics to identify rightsizing opportunities.Dedicating resources to monitor problem volumes, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) quality, solution timelines, and following up on potential improvement opportunities.Supporting major incident and critical situation resolution by finding the root cause of incidents (through known errors and root cause analysis), defining workarounds, and following up on fixing root causes (by planning problem resolution and change implementation).Our team dynamics (Optional)You will join a {insert adjectives – e.g. dynamic, talented, high performing} team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

With 3 to 5 years of hands-on IT operations experience, you have a proven track record of managing enterprise applications and infrastructure. Your strong technical background includes cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), Linux/Windows environments, networking, and databases.You’re an expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT incidents and performance issues. A deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and service operations - including Incident, Problem, and Change Management - sets you apart.Automation is second nature to you, whether through scripting, CI/CD pipelines, or advanced monitoring tools. You thrive in high-pressure environments, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining service excellence.Certifications in ITIL, Azure, or infrastructure-related fields would be a plus, but more than anything, we’re looking for a problem-solver who’s passionate about keeping critical systems running smoothly.Are you ready to take on the challenge?
