As an Operations Manager for Sourcing & Procurement in Chase Travel, you will execute requirements set forth in the Global Supplier Management Policy and Third-Party Oversight (TPO) Standards to provide oversight of third-party engagements for external suppliers spanning various labor categories. This role is responsible for managing the full life cycle of supplier engagement, starting with onboarding into the corporate tools, through steady state and offboarding.
Job Responsibilities
Act as the responsible business representative throughout supplier engagements, managing a portfolio of supplier relationships Collaborate with the Global Supplier Services Broker team to provide service information during onboarding of new supplier engagements Partner with Category Sourcing to deliver supplier performance management and exit plan details in accordance with policy Perform annual recertification of all reference data during supplier engagements Support Supplier Control Assessments conducted by the Supplier Assurance Services team as the line of business representative Identify cross-category opportunities to expand the reach and scope of the GCWM program, optimizing service benefits and efficiencies Ensure compliance with and utilization of the preferred supplier program, adhering to executed agreements, pricing, processes, and policies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Contingent workforce subject matter expertise, with experience in supplier management, portfolio management, category sourcing, procurement processes, contracting, negotiations, relationship management, and supplier risk management Proven client management skills and experience managing within a matrix framework, with the ability to influence without direct authority Ability to identify and implement best practices, process improvements, and automation, leveraging industry standards Experience in governance and oversight roles, with knowledge of outsourcing strategies for contingent workforce Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across organizational and geographical boundaries Strong control orientation, analytical skills, communication and negotiation abilities, problem-solving initiative, and a proactive approach Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, organizational skills, and attention to detail Ability to build rapport and exercise authority appropriately in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with an understanding of sourcing, vendor management, or contingent workforce procurement systems Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and highly collaborative team environment
