Statement of Purpose: Under the supervision of the Director of Health Information Management, the Operations Manager coordinates and manages the operational functions of the Health Information Management Department including: Identity Management, Birth Registry, Document Management, Release of Information, Deficiency Management and Transcription Services. Provides functional direction for the Cancer Registry as necessary. The Operations Manager performs personnel functions required to maintain a positive and productive team in the Health Information Management Department. This position is primarily based on-site at Milford but with opportunities for some remote work. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma required. Medical Records Degree preferred Certification / License: RHIA, RHIT, CCS preferred Experience: 2-3 years progressive experience in a Health Information Management Department
