Strategic context:
Sanofi is implementing an ambitious plan called “DRIVE” complementing our Play to Win Strategy with 3 main objectives (i) keep fueling our pipeline (ii) make Sanofi a modern science-driven healthcare company (iii) serving our patients.
In this context, Sanofi made the decision to evolve its commercial model from GBU-specific country organizations to a more standardized and consistent approach, boosting efficiency.
The focus will be on (i) Key Markets and most innovative products as major drivers for growth and (ii) a cross-GBUs efficiency model with optimized country set-up.
Main responsibilities:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective application of contracts, commercial policies and execution of the distributor model in relevant market(s), tenders and private sales involving close coordination with the local supply chain, managing importations, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and aligning delivery plans with customer needs.
Support Head of Operations for key commercial activities including tender management, commercial policy, distributors’ management, and performance management
Implement and manage the application of contracts and adherence to commercial policies
Drive the development and implementation of the commercial excellence initiatives by collaborating with Sales & Key Account team, and other support functions
Coordinate import processes and align with Regulatory Affairs (RA) and Quality guideline
Align operations with Supply Chain, MCO Business Planning and Operations and other related functions to ensure uninterrupted execution / operation
Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce costs
Monitor operational performance metrics and make adjustments to processes and strategies as necessary
Communicate regularly with supply chain partners and interna stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of business activities
Lead and manage ad-hoc projects as required, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Ensure high compliance with Sanofi SOPs and local legislation and transversal coordination with other Sanofi GBUs
About youMain requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field
Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance with local and international standards
Proficient in project management and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems
Fluent in English and the primary language(s) of the country or countries of operation, with strong communication skills
Work Experience:
5-7 years prior experience in project management, supply management, finance or consultancy
Experience in operations management, particularly in pharmaceutical industry
Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting
Extensive experience in handling contract applications, managing distributor models, enders, and overseeing direct sales
