At Siemens Roebuck, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager for our Spartanburg Fulfillment Center. The Operations Manager at the Siemens Spartanburg Fulfillment Center is responsible for overseeing the receiving, shipping, and assembly operations. This role ensures efficient and effective processes, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The Operations Manager will lead a team of 65 with 2 supervisors, and work closely with the Site Manager to achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities
Receiving Operations: Oversee the receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies. Shipping Operations: Manage the shipping process to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders. Optimize shipping schedules and methods to meet customer requirements. Assembly Operations: Supervise the assembly operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supervisors, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for the Site Manager. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure accurate record-keeping. Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with the customer service team to address any operational issues impacting customer satisfaction. Implement corrective actions as needed.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a fulfillment or manufacturing environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in inventory management and ERP systems.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

The pay range for this position is $83,300-$151,400 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
